If 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' tops Hot 100, Perry's Teenage Dream will tie MJ's mark of five #1s from a single album.

Katy Perry's unstoppable Teenage Dream album continues to churn out hits ... and now, it might just make history too.
If Dream's fifth single, the just-released "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)", continues its climb to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 (it currently sits at #4, jumping 27 spots from last week), Perry will not only become the first female artist to ever have five #1 songs off one album, she'll be the first artist of any gender to accomplish the feat since Michael Jackson had five chart-topping singles off his Bad album in 1987 and 1988.
Perry's previous #1s from the Dream album are, of course, "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework" and "E.T." Jackson's five #1s from the Bad album are "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Man in the Mirror" and "Dirty Diana."
Perry has already shattered the Hot 100 record for most consecutive weeks with a single inside the Top 10 (48, a number previously held by Swedish popmeisters Ace of Base), then kept that momentum going by spending an entire year in the chart's upper echelon. More incredibly, that streak is still active, as two of Perry's singles — "T.G.I.F." and "E.T." — sit at numbers 4 and 5, respectively.
What's more, "T.G.I.F" currently sits atop the Billboard Digital Songs chart, and may soon be her sixth single to pass the 4 million mark in digital sales, joining "E.T.," "California Gurls," "Firework," and from her One of the Boys album, "Hot N Cold" and "I Kissed a Girl." No other artist has even had four songs pass the 4 million download mark ... Perry's closest competitors in that regard are Lady Gaga and Rihanna, both of whom have had three 4 million-sellers.
What do you think of Katy Perry's chart streak? Sound off in the comments!

No doubt Bravo execs have been hard at work figuring out how to proceed with season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Mondays, 9 p.m. ET) in the wake of Russell Armstrong's suicide. Now it seems they may be confronting the issue head-on.
Sources close to the show tell the Los Angeles Times
Bravo hasn't confirmed this plan, but it may be the best way to move forward in an extremely delicate situation. One of the prominent story lines of season 2, which is still set to premiere on Sept. 5, revolved around the breakup of Russell and Taylor Armstrong's marriage.
Gearing up to promote the new season, the network sent out promo videos to the press that included Taylor crying about her marriage and shopping for lingerie to try to spice it up. Then Russell's body was found in his home on Aug. 15, with the death was ruled a suicide.
Through Russell's lawyer, the family requested that any footage of Russell or those associated with him be edited out of the show, with his mother even threatening a lawsuit.
While a source at Bravo has acknowledged that the show is being re-edited in light of recent events, edit Russell out altogether is a tricky proposition; Taylor's whole story line appears to hinge on disintegration of her relationship with her ex. To edit Taylor out of the show might be next to impossible, since she's an integral part of the group and often in scenes with the other women.
There's no word yet on whether the special episode about Armstrong's death will air before or after the premiere episode.

Those who stayed up to watch the end of the MTV VMAs Sunday night, got a special treat: a sneak peek at the first video footage from the big-screen adaptation of The Hunger Games. Those who didn't stay up, who didn't have the required elecricity (thanks, Hurricane Irene!) or who have already seen the clip but want to have another look can watch the film's first trailer in all its fire-tinged, teaser-rific glory below
Lionsgate, the studio behind the film, had already treated fans of Suzanne Collins' beloved trilogy of young-adult novels, to first-look photos of the film's three main cast members: 21-year-old Winter's Bone Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, 18-year-old The Kids Are All Right star Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and 21-year-old Last Song actor Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne. This, however, is the first video footage to be released thus far, and -- while it doesn't offer much in the way of the film's plot -- it certainly conveys a sense of the tone and overall look that director Gary Ross is going for. Of course, it's also cool to see Jennifer Lawrence in action as Katniss.
In the minute-long clips she shows off her athletic prowess, sprinting through a lush green forest, dodging fire-engulfed falling trees -- and, ultimately, leaping over a felled tree, deftly placing an arrow in her bow and firing it off, all in one fluid motion. And she does all this while her pal and hunting partner Gale gives her one heck of a pep talk in voiceover. "You're stronger than they are," he tells Katniss. "They just want a good show, that's all they want. You know how to hunt. Show them how good you are."
As anyone who's read the books knows, that inspirational speech is meant to prepare Katniss for the titular Hunger Games, a televised battle where children from each "district" in a post-apocalyptic world engage in an all-out fight to the death.
That battle will rage when The Hunger Games hits theaters on March 23, 2012.

Lil Wayne closed out Sunday's 2011 MTV VMAs by singing, rapping and rocking, but his night was actually just getting started. Tha Carter IV became available at midnight, and Weezy celebrated the album's long-awaited release at the Boulevard3 nightclub in Hollywood.
A number of Weezy F.'s fellow artists were in the spot to personally give the New Orleans rapper their regards. "Wayne dropped his album at the VMAs like a boss, that's something an artist can only dream of," Rick Ross told MTV News.
"Wayne is a rock star. He is just mega right now," added Rocsi Diaz of BET's 106 & Park.
DJ Khaled, who featured Wayne on a pair of songs ("I'm On One," "Welcome to My Hood") on his latest album, was also in the house. "I'm happy for him and I'm happy for all his success, and I'm a fan as well," the Miami DJ/producer said while seated between Rozay and Drake.
Even "American Idol" contestant Chris Richardson gave Lil Tunechi props, saying, "All the songs on Wayne's albums are just intelligent and new and fresh."
Some attendees already were familiar with the music on the just-released Tha Carter IV, which leaked on Thursday. "My favorite song probably is 'Blunt Blowin',' 'Abortion' [or] 'I'm Good,' " YMCMB rapper Tyga said.
Cash Money singer/songwriter and producer Kevin Rudolf also professed to listening to plenty of Weezy, as did Young Money president and artist Mack Maine, who added the reasoning by behind his favorite cuts on Tha Carter IV. "I'm a lady's man so I like 'She Will' and I like 'So Special' a lot," said Maine.

Gaga's Jo Calderone alter ego introduced a dance tribute to Brit's best videos.
By John Mitchell
Britney Spears and Lady Gaga on stage at the 2011 VMAs
Photo: MTV
It's only fitting for one princess of pop to fete another. And that's what happened when Lady Gaga stepped out onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards to pay tribute to Britney Spears with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Well, kind of.
Gaga took the stage to honor Spears still in character as her male alter ego Jo Calderone, which she'd taken on for her show-opening performance earlier in the night. And that made things pretty interesting. Calderone opened by calling Spears an inspiration, saying, "She taught us all how to be fearless, and the industry wouldn't be the same without her."
Calderone then went on to get a little personal about Spears. He told the audience he used to put up posters of the pop star on his bedroom wall and be inspired in non-musical ways. It was a weird moment, but Calderone is a young guy of the right generation — a generation that would indeed have posters of Britney Spears on his/her wall.
There's a reason, after all, she was being awarded the Vanguard Award. The tribute then turned into exactly what any great tribute to this particular diva should be: a dance party. Spears is known as one of the biggest dance pop artists of her generation, and accordingly, dancers wearing Britney's most famous video looks took the stage to get down to her biggest hits, from "Baby One More Time" and "Crazy" to "Toxic" and "Do Somethin'."
By the time the sequence dissolved into a full-stage dance-off to Spears' recent smash "Till The World Ends," children also wearing Spears' myriad costumes popped up onstage alongside their grown-up dancing counterparts. It was a fitting way to show the impact Spears' music has had. From kids to adults, everyone knows and loves Britney. As the performance ended, Gaga-as-Calderone again grabbed the spotlight to introduce the pop star and did so with the kind of bravado that carried him through his monologue earlier in the show. "Everybody, stand the f--- up," Calderone demanded.
Looking better than ever and glowing from all the praise, Spears then took the stage.
Calderone certainly liked what he saw, eyeing the singer before stepping forward for a semi-awkward stare-down. But Gaga, er, Calderone eventually got what he wanted: a quick kiss from the one and only Britney Spears. He wanted more, however, but alas, it just wasn't going to happen. Being a classy guy, Calderone brushed off Britney's dismissal of his advances with a cool, "I don't want Gaga to get pissed."
Spears seemed thankful for the prize but used her time to shine the spotlight on another artist: Beyoncé. Spears introduced Queen B's unstoppable performance of the amazing 4 track "Love on Top" — at the end of which Beyoncé revealed her pregnant belly.

An a cappella girl group covers Usher's hit for Nationals in next week's episode.
By Aly Semigran

During this week's episode of "Glee", the gang from New Directions took a big risk when they decided they would compete in Nationals by singing their own original songs. Well, the stakes just got a little higher.
MTV News has an exclusive first listen to one of the rival groups who will go up against the McKinley High glee club in New York City during next Tuesday's (May 24) big season two finale. In the upcoming episode, an all-female a cappella group sings Usher's 2004 club and radio smash "Yeah!," which may have the Nationals judges saying just that.
Singers replace synthesizers for the four-note melody that repeats throughout the song, and lead vocalists RaVaughn Brown and Missi Hale match the high energy that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris brought to the track.
Granted, a few things have been tweaked in the version for the tween-friendly show, including the length (the original is over four minutes long, while the "Glee" version comes in at three and a half minutes) and the tune's instructions to "Take that and rewind it back ... got the rhythm make ya booty go."
Also, instead of Ludacris' verse, "We want a lady in the street/ And a freak in the bed," one girl sings, "You know you want a kiss on the lips, old red." The line, "Ludacris fill cups like double D's" has also been cut from the song.
But, it's not all PG. At one point in the girls' rendition of the track, they page homage to Lil Jon's crunk hit "Get Low," singing, "From the windows to the walls" and even Mystikal's booty-happy single "Shake Ya Ass," when they urge, "Show me whatcha' workin' with."
At the 2005 Grammy Awards, the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Yeah!" But, will the song bring the same sort of fortune to this girl group at Nationals? Or will the glory all belong to New Directions this time? Gleeks will still have to wait a few more days to find out.
The "Glee" season finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox, while "Glee": The Music, Volume 6, including the three new original songs "Light Up the World," "Pretending" and "As Long as You're There," will be available on Monday.
What do you think of this a cappella group's version of "Yeah!"? Let us know in the comments section below!

Go see Captain America this weekend! Support our Colin!
I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:
(Sit down, stop jumping around, it's an awesome picture, I know. And the quality is amazing. It's not grainy or reddish... it's perfect.) (No, it's not.)
(And you can totally see the Captain America logo on the side of the glasses.) (No, you can't.)
Anyway, Captain America is pulling a strong 71% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes right now so GO SEE IT! IT'S FANTASTIC!

Bodog oddsmaker also likes Lady Gaga's chances at Sunday's big show.
By James Montgomery
Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News/ Jessica Hyndman
Earlier this week, we tried our hand at picking the winners for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, but with the big show just around the corner -- airing live from Los Angeles this Sunday at 9 p.m. — we figured it was time to let the pros have their say.
We reached out to the folks at the Bodog Sportsbook to get their take on Sunday's show ... and, as it turns out, much like us, they see it being a big night for Katy Perry. But it definitely won't be a clean sweep for the California Gurl; they also like Justin Bieber's and Lady Gaga's chances too.
So here, for your wagering pleasure, are Bodog's odds for the 2011 VMAs. Remember, it's only considered a "gambling problem" if you lose.
Best Male Video
» Justin Bieber, "U Smile," 7/5
» Cee Lo Green, "F--- You," 7/4
» Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie," 7/2
» Kanye West (featuring Rihanna and Kid Cudi), "All of the Lights," 9/2
» Bruno Mars, "Grenade," 12/1
Bodog's Take: "Justin Bieber makes millions of girls smile, which in turn makes his record company smile," Bodog Sportsbook manager Richard Gardner says. "Over at Bodog's online sportsbook, we're inclined to think that Bieber Fever is still running high."
Best Female Video
» Lady Gaga, "Born This Way," 6/5
» Katy Perry, "Firework," 11/4
» Adele, "Rolling in the Deep," 11/4
» Nicki Minaj, "Super Bass," 9/2
» Beyoncé, "Run the World (Girls)," 8/1
Bodog's Take: "Lady Gaga has just been awarded the #1 spot on Forbes' Celebrity 100, #1 Social and #1 Web lists; she also owns the #2 position in Press, #3 in TV/Radio, #8 in Money and is sitting pretty at #11 on their 'World's Most Powerful Women' list," Gardner says. "This woman has to be a clear favorite to win Best Female Video."
Best Rock Video
» Mumford & Sons, "The Cave," 7/4
» Foster the People, "Pumped Up Kicks," 9/4
» Foo Fighters, "Walk," 3/1
» The Black Keys, "Howlin' for You," 4/1
» Cage the Elephant, "Shake Me Down," 6/1
Bodog's Take: "If Noel Gallagher loves [Mumford & Sons], then that's saying something, right?" Gardner says. "And what about Marcus Mumford and Carey Mulligan's recent engagement? That's huge. The awards they've picked up along the way for 'The Cave' are added insurance for our bettors."
Best Pop Video
» Katy Perry, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," 6/5
» Adele, "Rolling in the Deep," 7/5
» Pitbull (featuring Ne-Yo, Nayer and Afrojack), "Give Me Everything," 5/1
» Bruno Mars, "Grenade," 7/1
» Britney Spears, "Till the World Ends," 14/1
Bodog's Take: " 'Last Friday Night' made Billboard history last week as it made Katy Perry the first woman to hit five #1 spots with one album," Gardner explains. "Clearly, Perry is the reigning pop princess."
Best Hip-Hop Video
» Kanye West (featuring Rihanna and Kid Cudi), "All of the Lights," 2/1
» Nicki Minaj, "Super Bass," 9/4
» Lil Wayne (featuring Cory Gunz), "6 Foot 7 Foot," 5/2
» Chris Brown (featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes), "Look at me Now," 3/1
» Lupe Fiasco, "The Show Goes On," 12/1
Bodog's Take: "Kanye may have fallen onstage while performing this song in Norway, but he'll get the last laugh when he picks up the award for 'Best Hip-Hop Video' at this year's MTV Video Music Awards," Gardner says. "At least that's how we think this one will go down with bettors."
Best New Artist
» Wiz Khalifa, "Black and Yellow," 7/5
» Kreayshawn, "Gucci Gucci," 7/4
» Tyler, the Creator, "Yonkers," 3/1
» Foster the People, "Pumped Up Kicks," 6/1
» Big Sean (featuring Chris Brown), "My Last," 12/1
Bodog's Take: "Khalifa's $11 million haul over the past year earned him the #11 spot on Forbes' annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list," Gardner pointed out. "But it was when 'Black and Yellow' became the Pittsburgh Steelers' anthem during their Super Bowl run ... that's what our bettors will be counting on."
Video of the Year
» Katy Perry, "Firework," 6/5
» Adele, "Rolling in the Deep," 7/4
» Beastie Boys, "Make Some Noise," 4/1
» Bruno Mars, "Grenade," 9/2
» Tyler, the Creator, "Yonkers," 16/1
Bodog's Take: "This one comes down to basic math. Katy Perry has been nominated for 10 [awards]," Gardner explained. "While there's no such thing as a sure thing, she's cutting it pretty darn close with this one."
The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8. See the list of nominees, revisit last year's highlights and vote for Best New Artist by visiting VMA.MTV.com.

Man, I'm so irritated.
I just received four pets tags that I ordered for Bev and Mary Margaret (two for Brooklyn and two for LA) and they're all messed up. Not only did they leave off the "Margaret" on Mary Margaret's tags, but the text isn't centered correctly and runs off the right side on all four of them. (The last letter of the address is cut in half.) The tags themselves are also ugly. The edges aren't smoothed out... they look like someone just cut them from a piece of sheet metal and called it a day.
So anyway, I got them this morning on my way to Starbucks (yesterday's mail), so while I was there, I started drafting a strongly-worded letter in my head, like what I was going to say to these people when I sent them back.
And then I saw it.
In tiny print on the bottom of the invoice it said, "Our handicapped employees appreciate your order."
So now I can't send them back. If I did I'd be a total asshole.
I'm just going to order new ones from someplace else. Any recommendations?

2011 MTV Video Music Awards nominee says, 'In the overarching scheme of pop culture, I hope to change what things mean.'

Lady Gaga at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards
Photo: Steve Granitz/WireImage.com
For Lady Gaga, attending an awards show is not just about showing up and having a good time. For her, it's also about making a statement. And, many times, that statement is tied to the many, many wardrobe changes she makes throughout the night. That, of course, includes the MTV Video Music Awards, where Gaga will be in attendance Sunday night.
For her first VMAs, in 2009, Gaga made four costume changes, one of which included her seemingly bleeding onstage during her performance of "Paparazzi." Then, in 2010, she might have had three costume changes, but her most memorable was her Franc Fernandez-designed meat dress.
"When I came to VMAs that year, it was not perceived as performance, it was perceived as costume changes," she recently dished to MTV News. "My seat is my seat. In the overarching scheme of pop culture, I hope to change what things mean and have them branch into other areas."
While no one knows what or how many outfits she will wear during Sunday night's show, she did share what her bottom line is: "I will be making a statement."
That mirrors what she said during "MTV First: Lady Gaga" earlier this month, where she shared that her celebrity is a big art installation. "I think something that's always been very important to me ... is that the fame as an art form has always been an interesting stage," she said. "It begins on the subway or in the car on the way here. It begins when I wake up in the morning and I take a shower. It's not something that is temporal. It has no end, so I'm excited to continue as an artist to push the boundaries of where pop music can exist."
This year, Gaga is up for four Moonmen including Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message for "Born This Way," as well as Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for "Judas." Also, she will open the show with the night's first performance.
The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday from Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8. See the list of nominees, revisit last year's highlights and vote for Best New Artist by visiting VMA.MTV.com.

Singer covered songs ranging from classic 'Pleasure Principle' to 2008's 'Feedback' at New York show.
By Vaughn Schoonmaker
Janet Jackson (file)
Photo: Christopher Polk/ Getty Images
NEW YORK — Often imitated, never duplicated, Janet Jackson's outbursts of meticulous choreography, sassy exclamations and smoldering gazes into the audience kept them on their feet for the entire two-hour set of her greatest hits at Radio City Music Hall. Monday night marked the last of three sold-out shows at the historic venue on her monumental Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour.
Up-and-coming boy band Mindless Behavior opened the show with songs including "#1 Girl," "Future" and their debut single, "My Girl." With their Usher-esque dance moves and shouts like "Where the ladies at?" the boys brought the tween girls out of hiding, judging by the shrill screams escaping various corner of the music hall.
At 9:00 sharp, the lights went down and Janet's fans were on the edge of their seats, watching music videos for "The Best Things in Life Are Free" and "Rhythm Nation" projected on big screens across the venue. A small shadow drifted toward center stage, and when the colorful lights came up, Jackson, wrapped in a shoulder-padded catsuit, complete with slick short hair, blasted into "The Pleasure Principle," dancing as hard and intensely choreographed as she did when the song first came out in the 1980s.
With barely a spare second between songs, Janet dazzled her way through her biggest hits, including "Miss You Much," "All for You" and "Nasty," and more recent hits like 2008's "Feedback."
Videos displayed during Jackson's costume changes included vintage clips from "Diff'rent Strokes," a funny scene from "Poetic Justice" where Jackson slyly rejects the advances of Tupac Shakur's character, and a rather heavy scene, as Jackson's character in "Why Did I Get Married" destroys her husband's house with a golf club, screaming hysterically.
Considering the tough couple of years the Jackson family has faced, the dark moments in the video seemed fitting, and everyone was beside themselves with bittersweet joy when Michael Jackson's face popped up on the big screen and she performed their hit single "Scream."
Janet emerged for her encore in a tight white one-piece disco suit, and performed "Diamonds," "Make Me" and "Together Again," which appeared to be the biggest hit of the evening. As Jackson graciously bowed out, her straight face transitioned into a smirk, suggesting that despite the hard times she has experienced recently, we can expect to see this singing and dancing pop legend shine far into the future.
"Its amazing!" Janet fan Elena Mercantini gleamed afterward. "It's like she's still 20 years old!"
"She's hot, she's amazing and she's still got it after all these years" added Alison Klinger of Long Island. "Best concert I've ever been to!"

Stephen Moyer and director Matthew Parkhill recall the eerie occurrences on the film's Puerto Rico set.
By Josh Wigler
Stephen Moyer in "The Caller"
Photo: Samuel Goldwyn Films
There are probably stranger, scarier things in the universe than a mystery woman from the past who can cross the space-time continuum to obsessively call your home telephone for hours and days and weeks on end. But the idea is plenty creepy as the premise of "The Caller," director Matthew Parkhill's indie thriller starring "Twilight" villainess Rachelle Lefevre and "True Blood" vamp Stephen Moyer.
In "The Caller," Puerto Rico resident Mary Kee (Lefevre) moves into a new home following a nasty separation from her abusive husband ("Eureka's" Ed Quinn), only to find an even more harrowing nemesis in Rose (Lorna Raver), an unhinged and disgruntled woman living in the late 1970s. Rose somehow has the ability to call Mary's new phone number some 30 years into the future, a seemingly impossible sci-fi feat that leaves our protagonist skeptical, frustrated and frightened in turns. When Mary's patience for Rose's hysteria wears thin, she learns the hard lesson that scorning a deranged woman who lives in the past can be hazardous for your health.
Though it boasts a sinister plot, it was actually the behind-the-scenes mysteries that raised the hair on the backs of the "Caller" cast and crew's necks throughout the film's 23-day shoot.
"Sometimes a shoot will take on its own energy," Moyer, who plays Mary's love interest and resident time-travel expert John Guidi, told MTV News. "Every day, something was happening. Things were breaking, film missing, scratches on necks ... it just became this regular occurrence. Even after I left the shoot, me and Matthew and Rachelle would speak regularly, and there would be bits and pieces happening on a regular basis: phone calls coming in from people, literally prank phone calls. It was an odd, odd thing."
Parkhill said that screenwriter Sergio Casci was convinced there was a "curse of 'The Caller.' " But the director doesn't much believe in curses himself, though even he admitted to "weird" and "unsettling" occurrences.
"We dressed Mary's living room with these old National Geographic magazines, and one of them fell open to this page where there were three corpses hanging in this old room, that were identical to the three corpses hanging in our pantry," said Parkhill, referring to a trio of bodies that play a pivotal role in the horror film. "Then when we were shooting in a supermarket, we moved one of the supermarket shelves and there was an old bottle of perfume that had cracked which was labeled 'Rose,' which is [the name of the film's villain]."
In the end, none of these eerie events was powerful enough to derail production on "The Caller," which opens in limited release on Friday (August 26). But that doesn't mean that the alleged curse of "The Caller" doesn't still rear its head from time to time. The press junket held in San Juan earlier this week just so happened to coincide with the presence of Hurricane Irene in Puerto Rico, a threat that is now storming its way up the East Coast. As a result of the storm, certain parts of Puerto Rico — including the hotel that housed the "Caller" cast and crew for the week — were left almost entirely without power for multiple days.
"It feels particularly fitting that we're in the middle of a hurricane," Moyer told MTV with a grin. "There's no power. Last night, after we all left the bar, we had to go back to [our rooms] with flashlights. It's literally pitch black in the hotel. You've just watched a horror film, which is pretty scary, and you're going into your room with a flashlight and you can't see anything. I think all of us went through some moments last night thinking, 'This is it. My time is up! Somebody's going to jump out of the cupboard!' "
Check out everything we've got on "The Caller."

Singer tells MTV News about gay fan inspired by her song 'Animal.'
By Gil Kaufman
Ke$ha knows all about the perks of being a headliner. On her Get $leazy Tour, the singer gets to call all the shots, blast her fans in the face with tons of glitter and handpick which dudes she wants to party and share the stage with.
But it's not all backstage shenanigans and groupie love. When MTV News sat down with the "Blow" singer in New York earlier this week before her gig at Roseland Ballroom, Ke$ha said that amid the nightly onstage parties there have also been some poignant moments on her first headlining outing.
"Best moment? There are so many. Every night's amazing. I have kids outside right now chanting my name and it's awesome," she said of the first leg of the tour. "There was one night a fan came onstage, I invited him onstage, and he had a tattoo of the dollar sign. I was like, 'Oh, that's awesome! Badass. You're part of the cult, man.' "
And then, she said, he began to cry and explained that he was able to come out of the closet to his friends and family thanks to her song "Animal."
"And I'm standing onstage about to sing a song about growing back a pair of testicles ["Grow a Pear"] and I had tears rolling down my face and chills all over my body," she said. "Because that's really the reason I do music, to inspire people to be themselves."
Ke$ha has been a vocal supporter of the "It Gets Better" video project, which aims to help gay, bisexual and transgender youth find hope in the face of teasing and bullying.
The "Get $leazy" juggernaut continues on Saturday night with a show at Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania.

We take a look back at pop princess' decade-plus track record before Sunday's tribute to the icon.

It's hard to believe there was ever a Video Music Awards without Britney Spears. Her iconic performances and eye-popping getups make her a perfect match for the outsized and outrageous VMA stage.
Britney herself told us that her bombshell kiss with Madonna in 2003 is her favorite VMA moment. "My greatest experience -- probably being with Madonna," she told MTV News. "The kiss was amazing. ... Being onstage with someone of that caliber is just iconic."
See Britney's biggest VMA moments for yourself in these photos.
But Spears certainly has a long list to choose from. And with that track record, it's no surprise that this year's VMAs will pay tribute to Britney. Let's dive into the highlights of her decade-plus history with the show:
1999
For her first-ever appearance, Spears not only went dress shopping with MTV News correspondent Serena Altschul, but also declared herself a VMA pop princess, taking the stage alongside 'NSYNC to perform her breakout hit " ... Baby One More Time." Still the epitome of a teen-pop sensation, Spears performed with a school backdrop, a callback to her video for the track.
Go behind the scenes as Britney films her 2011 VMA promo.
2000
Spears upped the sexy ante when she literally did a striptease at the show. She cooed her way through the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction" and then -- boom -- it happened: She ripped off her tux to display a nude two-piece getup and shimmied her way through "Oops ... I Did It Again."
2001
Just one year later, not only did the singer give Jamie Foxx a dance lesson to Chuck Berry's "You Never Can Tell," but she also hung out with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger on the red carpet, who appeared not to know who she was. "Am I a Britney fan?" Jagger pondered. "Of course I am. And she did one of our songs, didn't she? She did it very well."
But that was all kid's stuff until Spears took the stage at the Metropolitan Opera House in 2001 for her sultry and very memorable performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U." Draping herself in a white python and slithering around a steamy garden setting -- surrounded by dancers in zebra and tiger outfits -- Spears created one of the most striking visuals in the 27-year history of the show.
2002
Brit donned a dominatrix outfit and presented idol Michael Jackson with a birthday cake and referred to him as the "artist of the millennium." Michael may have misunderstood and thought that she meant he was receiving some new Artist of the Millennium award and gave an acceptance speech.
2003
Here it is: Britney's favorite. She, along with queen Madonna and peer Christina Aguilera, opened the show with striking dance moves and star power. But things really heated up during a wedding-themed performance of Madge's "Like a Virgin," when Madonna leaned in for a quick smooch with Christina Aguilera and then an even-steamier kiss with Spears. Everyone was surprised by it -- including Justin Timberlake. She later told CNN, "I didn't know it was going to be that long and everything. ... I've never kissed a woman before."
What's better than Britney, Madonna and Christina kissing? Cats re-enacting the smooch!
Apparently, the three-way kiss struck a major chord with music fans around the world, who just voted it the most outrageous moment in the show's long history.
2006
Spears appeared on the show in a way fans had never seen her before: pregnant. The mommy-to-be (Jayden James was on the way) pre-taped a segment alongside then-hubby Kevin Federline to present the award for Best R&B Video.
2008
Spears took home her first Moonman -- actually, she took home three, for Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, all for "Piece of Me." She also displayed her funny bone in a video that opened the show, making us all laugh alongside Jonah Hill. "I just want to dedicate this to all my amazing fans out there for all their support," she said when she took the stage to accept one of her many Moonmen that night.
2009
The show landed back in New York City, and Spears was up for seven awards. She took home the prize for Best Pop Video for her Joseph Kahn-directed clip for "Womanizer."
2011
After taking a break in 2010, we come to this Sunday, where a Spears tribute is set to take place and the singer is up for two Moonmen, including Best Pop Video and Best Choreography. Will she add any more hardware to her collection? You'll have to wait and find out. But we are betting on one more memorable moment to add to her stellar VMA history.

Justin Bieber had a very good year. Seriously, like a major one that rivals most corporate CEOs'. According to a People magazine ranking of the top-earning teen actors and musicians, Bieber, 17, raked in $53 million in 2010.
Most of that cash came from his smash movie, "Never Say Never," and his hit fragrance, "Someday." (By contrast, girlfriend Selena Gomez made $5.5 million.) Bieber reached that big-baller level thanks to the record-breaking returns from "Never," which is the most successful concert-themed film in U.S. history, with more than $73 million earned to date.
Nipping at his heels was veteran teen starlet Miley Cyrus, whose haul was $48 million, almost all of it earned from touring.
Other big earners on the list include "Twilight" top wolf Taylor Lautner, who earned $8.5 million for the final two installments of the movie series, as well as $7.5 million for his upcoming starring debut in the action thriller "Abduction."
Nick Jonas had a very good year as well, with totals around $12.5 million, while "Two and a Half Men" star Angus T. Jones banked $7.8 million, thanks to a $300,000 per episode payday.
Jaden and Willow Smith made the list, with Jaden earning $5 million last year, $3 million of it from his starring role in "The Karate Kid," while sister Willow's music career rang up $4 million.
Acting sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning also did pretty well, with Dakota, 17, getting $4 million for "Breaking Dawn" and Elle, 13, taking home $1.5 million for "Super 8."
